Privacy policy.
Short version: this site collects only what you choose to send, uses it to reply and to build what you asked for, and never sells it or uses it for ads. It never asks to connect your wallet.

The operator of Hookwright.

This policy covers hookwright.vercel.app and the conversations that start from it (contact form, email and Telegram). It follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What is collected
What you type into the form or send us, plus the technical data any web server needs to deliver a page.
Data you give us
- Contact form (“rule”): your name and email (required) and, optionally, your coin or project, what you need, your timeline, the rule itself and whether you want a private build.
- Email and Telegram: whatever you choose to share when you write to us.
- If we work together: billing details, and the public wallet addresses needed to prepare transactions for you to sign.
Never send private keys, seed phrases or passwords. Nobody at Hookwright will ever ask for them, and the agent has no use for them.
Data collected automatically
When you load a page, the hosting provider (Vercel) receives the technical data every browser sends: IP address, browser and device type, requested page, referring page, date and time. It is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix errors, not to identify or profile you. This site runs no analytics.
Your theme and accent choices are saved in your own browser and never reach us. Details are in the cookie policy.
Public blockchain data
Anything on-chain is public by design.
When you deploy a hook, buy $WRIGHT or trade in a pool, those transactions are recorded on a public blockchain (Ethereum). They are visible to anyone, cannot be changed or deleted, and are not controlled by Hookwright.
Build reports in the journal link to such transactions. If you ask for a private build, there is no journal entry, but the deployed contract remains public on-chain.
Why, and on what legal basis
To answer you, to build what you asked for, and to meet legal obligations.
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR art. 6) |
|---|---|
| Reply to your rule and send a spec | Your consent (form checkbox) and steps you asked for before a contract, 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b) |
| Quote, build and deliver a hook or launch kit | Performance of a contract, 6(1)(b) |
| Invoices, tax and accounting records | Legal obligation, 6(1)(c) |
| Keep the site online, secure and free of spam | Legitimate interest, 6(1)(f) |
The agent drafts specs and code from what you send, but a human reviews every reply and every transaction before it goes out. No decision with legal or similar effects on you is made automatically. We don't add you to a newsletter or send you marketing emails.
Transfers outside the EU
Some providers are based in the United States.
Where data leaves the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long it is kept
No longer than needed.
- Requests that don't become a build: deleted 12 months after the last message.
- Build data: for the length of the work, then as long as needed to answer questions about the delivered hook.
- Invoices: as long as tax law requires.
- Server logs: according to Vercel's retention, usually a few days.
How it is protected
HTTPS everywhere, limited access, and no keys to steal.
The site is served only over HTTPS. Access to the email inbox is limited to the people who reply to you, with two-factor authentication. Hookwright never holds wallet keys: transactions are prepared for your wallet to review and sign.
Your rights
One email is enough.
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. Data already written to a public blockchain cannot be deleted by anyone. Write to hello@hookwright.xyz; we reply within one month at the latest. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Minors
This site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think a minor has sent us personal data, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When the site or the tools behind it change, this page changes too. The date at the top always shows the latest revision.
